Cleaning & Maintenance Recommendations for Playground

Once you are in business of indoor play structures and soft play equipment, you have to consider cleaning, maintenance and repair. Kids Indoor play equipment and soft play area are our speciality,there are some tips for cleaning the playground.

Cleaning & Maintenance Recommendations for Playground

DAILY AND WEEKLY

Clean interior and exterior of the structure and activities with a soft damp cloth

Vacuum and/or sweep flooring

Remove dirt, litter or food debris

Stairs,panels and domes should only be cleaned with a soft cloth and Windex

Refer to ‘Detailed Cleaning Instructions’ below

MONTHLY – IN ADDITION TO ABOVE ITEMS

All exterior of the unit to keep luster in the plastic

Check foam bar for any tears and missing zip ties

Check all exposed zip ties to make sure there are no sharp edges and that the zip ties are secure

Loose or missing hardware should be tightened or replaced

Conduct Structure Safety Inspection Checklist

Complete any required corrective actions to keep the structure in optimum condition

Detailed Cleaning Instructions

EXTERIOR

It is recommended that all bolts and screws within the structure are checked for tightness monthly

Spider tower are used to hold suspended items. These should be checked weekly for tightness. Web crawls should also be checked weekly. If any are showing signs of wear, we suggest they be replaced

PVC Coated Mesh – wipe clean and/or vacuum

Activities located on the exterior of the structure eg. activity panels – wipe clean

INTERIOR PLASTIC AND VINYL AREAS

Plastic Interior – wipe clean and/or vacuum

Activities – wipe clean and/or vacuum

Vinyl covered components (includes foam shapes, floor pads and post covers) – clean with Windex

Wear and tear will occur on vinyl covered components with normal use.  Any tears in these items should be repaired

Ensure only Windex  is used when cleaning stairs, panels and domes.

Ensure Armor All is used on exterior plastic only.

POST FOAM

Clean with soft cloth and Windex
